We are organizing a graffiti clean-up with NYPD's 20th Precinct and are seeking more volunteers! We will meet at the 20th Precinct, 120 West 82nd Street, at 10 a.m. this Tuesday, July 12th. Beacon Paint (a wonderful local paint and hardware store on Amsterdam Avenue and 78th Street) is generously donating all the supplies - thank you Bruce! Please email us if you are interested in helping us paint over graffiti on mail boxes, switch boxes, and light poles. We hope you can join us this Tuesday. Even if you can only help for an hour or two, that would great. Graffiti clean-ups are a lot of fun and we hope to see you there!

We've Cleaned up Graffiti
On Saturday, June 11, 2011, The West 80s Neighborhood Association, with the assistance and generosity of Beacon Paint and some local volunteers, successfully cleaned up graffiti on mailboxes in the neighborhood.
